"Her name is Shanade Tallentire and she is 7 years old. She has a brain tumor, called a diffuse intrinsic glioma. It’s growing in the part of the brain that controls the central nervous system." Shanade has been given six months to live - that was almost two months ago.
We were hugely touched by this story when approached to donate a few weeks ago. Watching the television interviews is just heartbreaking, and sad.
Jess, from Exquisite Baby, was the main organiser of a massive campaign to raise money for Shanade and her family, so they may enjoy the next few precious months as much as possible.
In October, there were 51 charity auctions, to raise money for Shanade and her family.
Blanky4me.com donated a Kids Personalised Waffle Fleece Blanky to be auctioned.

We wish Shanade and her family a happy and joyful stay in Auckland, and hope the next few months are as comfortable and happy as possible. xo
